Electrical fan issues
I've been running just clutch fan for a while now the electrical fan does not seem to come on. Today I got my hands on another fan And I decided to put it in the jeep and see if anything would change...still nothing. I checked the fuses, one looked dirty (not blown), I put a newer one in. I'm gonna keep tinkering with it, good thing I don't necessarily NEED it, but I would like to have it. Anyone have any suggestions?

How does the wiring harness to the fan look? Maybe find the fan pin out and safely power it directly from a 12V supply. To insure you don't have two bad fans. It's possible and needs to be ruled out.

from what else I have read on this site. The 00-01 xj's are a little different as the elec fan does not initiate when the AC is turned on. It cuts on at about 218F. at least that is what I got from what I read from others. I have a new radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, etc. I run at about 208 steady. So maybe its just normal for the fan not to be on? Am I right or is there actually a malfunction.

If if you are still worried, you could still bump test the fans you have with 12VDC. Maybe some peace of mind. But I think your okay.
