Default Electric Fan Shroud

I have a 93 2.5L with an electric fan from a 98 2.5L instead of the stock mechanical fan. However, it's currently mounted to a sheet metal looking thing that just has holes cut for mounting and a hole in the middle where the fan blows. I think it's restricting my airflow pretty significantly. Does anyone have any good shroud suggestions? I have no clue what alternatives there are for the fan. Will the stock one work?

Picture? Is there a gap between the back of the radiator and the sheet metal, enough for air to flow? Or is it pressed up there tight?

It's right up tight against it. Her is a picture, I'll try to take a better one when I get home. Do you this if I just put a spacer or something it would be a lot better?

Yep, the factory belt fan will pull way more air than the factory efan. The belt fan does need to be properly shrouded and bolted to a good fan clutch.

Being a 2.5L, every horse counts. And I'd like to be able to have it on a switch.

Yes. Not overheating but close to it.

Didn't get a whole lot of response so I just decided to go with the taurus swap. Here is the old fan though so you can see how bad the setup was. Fan is small, and came off a 98 2.5L XJ. Anyway, problem solved!

That second pic really does look like it's blocking a lot of the radiator.

Neat looken fan though. Gave me an idea. Been having issues finding brushes for the Sweedish Perm magnet vacuum motor I've been using for my hydro. (can get'm, just spendy). Wonder what kind of service I could expect from a fan motor like that.
