Default Electric fan

Working on fixing my 95 xj up. First has then lift gate struts and headlight buzzer. Now I'm hearing a sound under the hood and when I looked its the electric fan. The 3 prices of plastic that hold it to the shroud, 2 are broke off. So there is only 1 left so the fan is leaning into the engine pulley that holds the serpantine belt. I'm in a city and I've checked All the wrecking yards no fans. alAutozone has aftermarket ones for $65 and OEM for $100. Will the after market ones bolt up and just plug in with the right plug?

Does this fan kick on for the heater or just the AC?

OK Autozone has aftermarket electric fan for $59 but instead of bolting on it has cushion tabs and it zip ties on the radiator. Will this hurt my radiator? and do these work good?

I've installed several of those type that push through the radiator an never had a problem. The one thing that you have to watch out for is when you put the rod through the rad fins try to keep it away from the flow tube. they can wear through the tubes with time and the vibration of driving. Just make sure that the after market fan has enough SCFM to keep you running cool.
