electric aux fan help
My electric fan in my 1996 ch sport does not turn on causing excessive heat. I do know the fan works I hooked it up to a power source. I think its a wiring problem but im not sure Idk want to I want too follow the wires all the way. Would it be a bad idea to run it directly to the fuse box and put a manual switch in?

One thing to keep in mind, standard factory cooling did not have an efan so if overheating occured, it was due to something else (clogged rad, bad fan clutch, t-stat, water pump, etc.)....not the efan not running. This time of year (cool ambient temps) and for several months we'll never hear our efan (unless the a/c compressor is engaged) because the main fan is sufficient especially during cool/cold weather.

Well in here in Florida its staying pretty hot and its causing my injectors to get hot and miss fire when I turn the vehicle off then on and my temp gauge never goes above 210

How do u know it's an injector problem caused by overheating? The efan "on temp" is 218F so if u r running 210 or less, fan won't be on (unless the a/c compressor is on).

Every time it starts to misfire I turn it off poor water over the fuel line just before the injectors and a little on them. Then it'll start up fine
otherwise I have to wait 20-30 min to cool
