ect circuit please help
i have a 1996 cherokee with a 4.0. im not getting any temp indication. ive been through my jeep service manual and all i can come up with is pcm cavity input points. ive already checked cavity A16 to the thermistor and cavity A4 to ground. the thermistor is fine and so is the wiring to it, however i cant find any wiring info on any pcm outputs. such as to the temp gauge. any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
i find it really bewildering that the first thread i post on this site, and posted it for a second time, is apparently outside the realm of your knowledge.
thanks alot for your help

Don't worry brother - you're not being ignored. Some of us like to do a little homework rather than feed you a knee-jerk response. You described a healthy ECT Sensor, PCM and corresponding pins/cabling and yet have no temperature indication via the ECT Gauge. I checked my Factory Service manual ('99 XJ) and found what you described. The Instrument Cluster's gauges are fed by a twisted-pair (CCD Bus) from the PCM to the Cluster. Have you run the "Instrument Cluster - Actuator Test" for your High-Line Instrument Cluster? It is located in the manual within Group 8E "Instrument Panel Systems". Go ahead and run it to see if the gauge has quit on you. You might find that the gauge itself or something within the circuit board is defective. I found a defective solder joint in mine.
