I know it's not much better than stock with the plastic tanks, but I need something quick and cheap. I don't do a lot of off road driving, really only use the XJ in the winter, it's not my DD. Need to pull the trigger on something soon. Let me know you thoughts.

If time is of the essence, I'd try a local parts store.......u can have it installed this afternoon and if something is wrong, take it back and still have it in by this evening. Convenience is sometimes worth the price.

just installed that radiator. Its huge! almost double the capacity of a stock one. only problem was I had to romove the rubber grommets that the bottom pegs fit into cause its a tight fit. The price is great, been in there couple months and no problems. Replaced tstat and water pump while it was out, makes it really easy when rad is out

I'm running one.. Its slightly better than my stock unit in terms of cooling capacity. I would say go for it. I am happy with it and my xj runs about 10 degrees cooler.
On a side note, I didnt have to remove anything to make it fit.. it was a direct drop in. Hocky... not trying to bash you but you must have rushed through the swap.

Actually I just ordered it today, haven't done any swap. I'm not necessarily looking for a upgrade or anything, just need a new rad. Old one decided to start leaking. I do plan on reusing the rubber mounting grommets.
I am still running my stock radiator at 181k but I have a 35 dollar ebay cheapo ready to go. If they don't leak and cool your rig I say go for it. Nothing worse than a 500 dollar radiator with a stick through it.
