A Diesel WONT run on SVO/WVO (straight/waste vegy oil) without the conversion. Its too thick to atomize correctly when injected. WVO is solid/gel at room temp. Both have to be heated to around 200°F.

Biodiesel requires no conversion as long as you dont have any fuel wetted rubber... and expect to change the fuel filter a couple of times until you clean out all the paraffin wax and petroleum deposits that D#2 leaves behind

At least a gasser can run on e85, it just might not run on it for too long... Depending on the engine, some like to run on a bit of ethanol. it gives a nice octane boost and cleans things out nice... but high blends of ethanol will bite you in the *** unless you have modified your setup
