e brake cable routing

e brake cable routing
I just had some new axles put in my jeep and the way my e brake cable is run I think is wrong. I could be wrong, but it's run under my leaf and I think it should be run over it. Is this right or am i?

On one of my 90's it's under everything, on the left at least. Mine angles forward more, doesn't cut toward the center as yours looks.

Doesn't really matter, personal preference. Oem are under, but I've had aftermarket ones that were above to give the cable enough slack for flex, also keeps it away from snagging on stuff. If you're properly bump stopped you shouldn't have to ever worry about the cable above the leaf spring.
