Default Which e brake cable for rear disc swap?

If I am installing a 2002 Liberty rear disc kit on my 99 XJ, 8.25 what e brake cable do I need, on both sides?

Doesn't seem like anyone really explains how you go about the e brake cables.

Yeah that's right I have one but the other is on back order. It's covered in my disc brake thread and I've seen a few other ways to go about it like looping the factory lines and stuff.

Is there a junkyard part you can use? Will the Liberty cables work?

Thread link, can't find it.

Thanks

The liberty cables are a few feet too long if I remember correctly. The crown part was the only one I could find that would work.

Don't use the Crown ones. They are different lengths and the bar they adjust on will be off centre.

Use the one's from Napa. Can't remember the part numbers but they will work perfect.

Ask me how I know...........

What do you mean Napa ones? Napa has a lot of parking brake cables.

You can use your stock cables.

There are forum posts that give the Napa part number. Search a little more. They are there and have the numbers. I wanted mine to look factory.

My factory parking brake isn't even. As long as they tighten evenly it doesn't matter to me it can tilt for a reason. I looked when I was first planning my build and couldn't find anything so saying search instead of just giving the numbers is not helpful.

Fantastic, thank you!

I found an install thread that had the guy using the KJ cables but looped them.

Not sure which way I am going yet.
