Question Durango steering box?

bought one today and im going to put it in my xj. who's done it? is it just a direct swap or do i need to make new bolt holes, spacers? what do i have to do?

hey i know this guy that just pulled one of those for some one...putting it on an xj. i know he looked it up and its just a direct replacement...as long as its the 3 hole like on a 99 durango !

Really good swap just make sure to buy a new steel spacer for it and think about beefing up that part of the unit body while you have it off. You will handle larger tire's easier also.

Looks like it was probably in a crash where something hit a wheel har enough to shift the splines and crack them. That's the chance we take buying JY stuff lol

All the write ups I've read recommend the croc inner plate that's what I ordered and I got a zj pitman arm front he jy too slapped it on I'm putting it in at some point this week I'll put a pick up of it so far on my avatar

why did you use a ZJ pitman arm? Your steering is going to be a bit off now...
