Default DS front spring clearance-trac bar mount frame

Still trying to sort out 1999 cherokee classic4x4 all stock

My factory DS front spring has very little clearance with the bulbous trac bar mount that attaches to the frame. You might be able to get a thick piece of cardboard between the two. It looks like my spring has contacted this mount several times. Is this normal? I would think 1 inch or more would be necessary for flex etc... What should clearance be? Thoughts ?
Thanks

Its kind of hard to tell but in first pic the distance between track mount and spring is about 3/16" seems like not enough clearance

Almost seems like the axle could be pushed towards the passenger side causing it to be curved and hit that. But the coil doesn't look curved :/ idk man
