looking for a site or company that sells front and rear ford 8.8's or dana 44's for jeep cherokee xj's. Any help is appreciated

 

unless you get the 8.8 from a person that has already fabed it up then you wont find a "drop in" one. To answer your question, Currie makes axles.

 

Dynatrac makes front and rear 44s and 60s, Curry has those and 9". They will cost a mint but are made to order. Shafts, spline count, lockers, gears and brackets to bolt them in. They can even make them to work with the factory ABS.

 

hope you have 4k-5k to spend. custom stuff if its going to drop in

 

4wheelparts has new dana 44 axles complete with lockers and lower gears
for about 2500 dollars each. If you have good fab skills and dont mind changing bolt paterns mopar jk axles are another good inexpensive (for custom axles) choice.

 

the 4wheelparts axles are rubi44 not true d44. they still use the outers of the dana30

heard but have not seen anyone stick jk axles in their rigs yet. thats an option
