Default driving with no track bar?

ok so i put my new lift on and while taking the trackbar off i got the bolt that holds the bottom off but cant get the top ones off so i want to drive to my cousins shop to use his tools to get the rest off. now do you think it will be ok to drive about ten or so miles with a disconnected trackbar? id be going maybe 20 mph or less

do you know that bar is what keeps your front axle center under the xj? complete death trap if that track bar was not there.

put the bolts back in, drive it over and take it off from there. or borrow the tools and head back to your place. either way do not drive it without a track bar

i dont see why not. the track bar if im right helps with axle rap as long as the road are not super bumpy or has train tracks i dont see it doing any harm.

just make shear you take turns slow. like i said if im right it helps with axle rap. looking at my jeep it looks like it keeps the front axle form moving left or right. if you replacing the control arms then i would say go for it.

if you fill you can drive safely to your shop then go for it.

Dude just unbolt the bracket that holds it to the frame and slide the whole unit out. Have him come pick you up.

My idea or the idea prior to mine.
The last thing the guy should do is drive the thing with no track bar.

I've drove 20-30miles since last night and mine isn't on.

I put 2 more " of lift in the front and it won't reach.

It feels wierd as **** with it off, but it is driveable, when u hit a bump or something though u'll get death wobbles untill u slow to 5mph then ur fine again.

Someone donate me an adjustable trackbar? :'(

I'm 18 and my Jeep fund is at 13$ now

Good advice if you want to kill somebody! Look at your track bar again and think about what it really does, it does nothing for axle wrap, it keeps the axle from moving side to side. If you're not sure of what you're talking about, do not offer advise.
