Default Driveshaft vibrations

I just added a 5 inch lift to my cherokee and sadly I have been struck with the driveshaft vibrations. Is there any way to home-brew a transfer case drop so that I'm not having to spend a ton of money. Being a college kid, money is kinda tight! A buddy of mine made a t-case drop himself so I was wondering if there is a real good way to do this. Let me know what you got. Thanks guys!

I'm sure it can be done. Just some metal spacers and longer bolts seems to be all thats needed, unless the 4wd lever can't be adjusted.

Its always better to do the SYE and lengthen the DS, though.

Did you lengthen your driveshaft at all after you put your lift on? Your driveshaft probably is too short and some side to side movement is happening from wear on the spline.

Once you pass 4.5" of lift, driveline modifications are recommended..SYE, extended driveshaft, etc..

I used some 1/2" x 2" aluminum flat stock I had and doubled up 6" lengths on each side. I drilled clearance holes and installed it with longer metric bolts from the parts store.

The whole process only took a couple hours. Just be careful removing the stock studs. I did spray mine with PB Blaster for a few days before removing them with a small pipe wrench.

make sure if you do the tc drop, shim the rear axle pinion so the angle matches the tc output shaft angle.
