Default Which Driveshaft????

89 xj, 4.0 auto 4wd 5.5" lift. I have a sye and need a new driveshaft. My slip in my current shaft seized on me?? Out of nowere it just stopped moving, I even grease it regularly. I'm wondering if theres a shaft I could buy from another vehicle that would fit??? I just don't have the cash to buy new. Help!!!! thanks

I heard a stock xj front shaft will work but when I measured it, it was too short???

the front DS should work, where are you measuring from?

not all front drive shafts are same

I just went out and measured yoke to yoke and got 35 1/4". I am sitting 6" in the rear and 6 1/4" in the front. I thought I was at 5.5" sorry. But which shaft would work for 35 1/4"?????? thanks

Ok i measured 33 1/4" fully compressed and almost 37" extended

Mine measures 35.25" from furthest part of yoke on transfer to furthest point on rear end yoke. Do you think I could use the same shaft??

I have a PORC HD SYE and im putting it in my 2000 XJ. I'm Just wondering if I can use the same DS off the 95 ZJ or would that not work. I have a D35 out back. I will also be sitting about 5-5.5"
