drain plug broke inside the radiator

Thumbs down drain plug broke inside the radiator

well my drain plug broke off inside the rad when i was doing a flush... and i cant figure out how to take it out, any ideas?

Does it leak?

If not, leave it in there and stop using it.

yeah its leaking if it wasn't i wouldn't really worry about it. i was trying to pull it out with some needle nose but no luck

Looks like you'll have to pull your radiator so you can work on it properly. It's a PITA enough to use that drain fitting with the radiator installed, let alone trying to get a stub out of it. I think it can be done. O'reilly's has new ones.

i am not really looking forward to having to pull my rad for a 3 dollar plug lol.. any tips that i could try to get it out?

It's really not difficult to pull the radiator. Might as well put a new one in there while you have it out.

When's the last time you replaced it?

i have only had the jeep for a few months so not sure if it was ever replaced; seems to be in good shape.. well it looks like ill be pulling my rad tomorrow. thanks for the help
