double shear track bar

Default double shear track bar

i just installed a 5.5 inch lift on my jeep today and it came with a double shear track bar and i was wondering how you know its adjusted to the right length. if i dont have it right can a normal shop adjust it when i get a alignment? thanks. here is a pic after it was all finished up

I just eyed it up and used a porta power to push the axle over. Havint found a alighnment shop yet that will adjust more than just the toe yet

With the trackbar disconnected from the frameside mount, turn the steering wheel to move the boby over the axle. Once you've centered the body over the axle, adjust the trackbar accordingly and install.

You'll need to adjust your draglink afterwards to re-center the steering wheel.

thanks guys.. the jeep drives just like it did before i did the bigger lift its just that the steering wheel is off now haha..
