Parking lights and turn signal lights work fine, but both the arrows on the dash blink simultaneously always.
When hazard light is on no blinking on dash at all.
Background: PO changed the parking/turning light socket from 3 wire socket, double filament to a 2 wire socket, single filament bulb. The reason being that the parking light should only work as a parking light, not as a turn signal due to regulations i Sweden bla bla.
I have;
-switched out all relays
-clean and improved all grounds
-cleaned sockets, changed bulbs
-cleaned 10 pin connector from steering column
The blue wire in the position light housing is left unconnected. And here’s the weird part: no power to this one at any point
questions;
-can the modification of the position light socket cause the dash signal to act weird?
-is the relay telling the dash what to do or is that a effect of what’s happening at the light circuit?
-can the non connected, no power blue wire cause this?
