The previous owner of my cherokee had decided to install an alarm, with this, like many of his other "improvements", he had it done by cheap and unskilled labor who installed it incorrectly. I promptly ripped it out, but saved the parts if I wanted to try to install it correctly at a future date. Well, the other day I tried re installing it (Bad Idea #1) and after a few hours to find and confirm how to properly wire it, I tried my luck (Bad Idea #2). This led to me wiring it, trying to start the jeep, it completely loosing all power, and me ripping it out and reconnecting the battery. Now after all of the trouble, my door locks ( no matter which one I use) only unlock, and do not make a sound when I try to lock it. I have made sure all of the wiring was back to normal and tested continuity in all which I worked with. Any quality ideas are much obliged.
