I'm in the middle of this install and have read just about everything about the clearance issues with the 99 intake manifold and the APN header. I ground down the manifold by #1 runner and that's fine. #6 is giving me fits. I believe I've ground down the manifold more than what the posts I've read suggest. The intake sits tight on top but not flush on the bottom. Very slight but I don't want to torque it all down and discover I have a huge vac. leak. I'm leery about relying on the bolts to pull it in. Any advice or helpful hints.Having the header even slightly touching the intake doesn't seen very good....This is taking way longer than what it should have......

 

"Massage" the exhaust manifold with a hammer. I did. All it needs is a couple of light blows.
