Default Door Snubber Help

Ok fellow Jeep mechanics! The rod connecting to the drivers door was creaking so I tried to spray a little LPS 1 on it. It quited a bit but the other day the pin came out and rod seems stuck.

How do I get at it and is it replaceable/repairable?

94 Cherokee Sport. 4dr auto 4WD. 4.0L

Thanks in advance!!

Ok found a thread in here. Its called Door check arm. I didn't know the correct term to begin with. I also found a p/n for new pins. So if I run into trouble I'll post pictures and ask questions!

Sometimes you can get away with just replacing the bracket and pin, if the hole in the arm isn't wallowed out too bad. I did this on mine and have a bit of play due to the hole in the arm being slightly enlarged, but not bad enough to pay for a new door check assembly. It doesn't snap anymore but you can still see slight movement in the arm.

Use only OEM pins. Dorman pins are ChiCom crap and, as usual, not sized properly.

I got my bracket and pin from Morris 4x4.
