I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic and my driver side door lock and the lock on the rear passenger door does not work. The passenger door, rear driver-side door, and the hatch will lock but the other two locks will not work. And it doesn't matter which switch you hit. It doesn't change if you hit the driver-side or the passenger side switch. And I can't figure out what the problem is. Does anyone know what to do to fix it?

Sounds like failed lock actuators, cheap and easy... to verify you'll need to pull the door panel. If you can feel the lock actuator trying to do something when pressing the switch it's failed. if you don't feel anything you'll need a test light/volt meter/ or power probe to check and make sure you have ground and power when the switch is applied. If you've got power/ground then it's a failed actuator, if you don't I would suspect a broken wire somewhere, likely in the door jamb.
