Hi jeep people I'm parting out a 1997 sport and I need to know if the doors will fit onto a 1995. Thanks

not sure if they will but im pretty sure the hinge is different on the 97

The striker changed as well. Later doors can be fit onto an earlier rig, but it takes a little doing.

Here you go. Read this write up from Jp Magazine about doing exactly what you are talking about. Oh yeah, forgot to add, that they even have wiring guides for all of the power equipment on the new door.

Haha it seems this thread is relevent to what i need. My 95 has somehow slid itself into a pole haha and it muked up my back passenger side door, now im looking at a junked 1990 xj that door has a bit of rust but is otherwise intact and was wondering if it would fit.

If your 1995 has the "single fat post" striker, then it's likely just a matter of unbolting the bent door and bolting on the straight one. Just take your time with aligning it, and I find a floor jack often helps.
