I need a gasket for my '99 BAD! At highway speeds the wind whistles in all around it louder than if I had the window down an inch. However, after searching just about every parts site I can think of, I cannot, for the life of me, find anyone who sells a door gasket. Does anyone know of anyplace that sells them? Any alternative that fits?

 

I haven't searched for new ones yet for my '96, but did this trick I found at Bleepin Jeep and it did wonders for me. Before I did this rope trick, if there was a strong wind at night, I'd wind up with a pile of snow inside my Jeep. it didn't stop the road noise completely, but it will help while you continue your search.

 

Genius! I was thinking about getting household door weather stripping and putting it on the door itself to make a seal with the gasket, but this looks way better. Thanks for the vid, I appreciate it!

red4dr: Ive looked on both sites NUMEROUS times, and unless Im missing it, Quadratec doesn't have it listed (they only list up to '96) and 4wd DOES have it for $132 for just the drivers door.

hm, i have seen them in the print add from both, I have not looked for them online, i just assumed they would be on there since they are in the book. sorry for the bad info!
