You didn't say if you had tried a Torx bit on it.

You might have to weld a nut on the head and get it out that way. The heat from welding will help to loosen up the threads, too.

Tried one on the drivers side. The bolt snapped off in the head. Tried drilling it out but with no luck. A friend said the bolt looked like it was pressed in and I should try to heat it up and just hit it out.

Maybe. But if it was pressed in, there wouldn't be a need for a Torx relief on the head.

Try double-nutting the threaded end and see if you can get it to back out, or even move.

So double nut the threaded end then try to use a torx bit? Wont the double nuts keep it snug?

They are pressed in. A 3-jaw puller will work pushing against it toward the bolt head. Or you can cut the head off flush and push it through the other way.

Jeep never does anything that makes complete sense. I'm not sure why they put a torx head on a pressed in bolt, but they did.

You only put the nuts about halfway up the shaft. Then you use a ratchet (or impact) and socket to make the bolt turn to the right (referenced from the thread end) and back it out.

But since I made that post, someone said it is pressed in. So it's not going to unscrew.

I guess you're going to have to cut off the head. Then punch or burn it out.

I have had luck with heating then freezing the bolt immediately afterwards. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 times but it has almost always worked for me. You can buy Freeze off at any auto parts store.

It's pressed in. I used a pitman arm puller for mine. Took like 5 minutes to do both sides

Why not just cut them off flush and heat it then knock it out with a chisel? I'm assuming you're not going to use the swaybays anyways? Just cut the entire bracket off

This^^.
The bolt is splined and pressed in. Like a wheel stud.
May save yourself some trouble by cutting the whole thing off the axle and welding on taller ones. This will allow your steering to clear the mount. Otherwise the passenger side mount can bind with drag-link/tie-rod joint at suspension droop.
By raising the mounts, extended links are not necessary and good links can be cut to fit.
