Only if you have every unreliable POS, poorly engineered and applied sensor from the original system.

So that's what went into that blank spot. None of my older XJ's had that. You'll never need it if you pop open your hood once and awhile and checked the fluids like they should be checked. Personally if I did have that I more then likely wouldn't trust it anyways. That's just me.

RIGHT!. Fact is you'd be checking your fluid levels more often than you do now because of the false alarms from that crappy system.

It's a great idea if done right. It would hold a lot of value to know of sudden fluid losses before it becomes a real problem. Like when driving down the highway. Of course only if it's reliable.
