Hey crew,
I just changed out the blower motor resister on my 95 xj. When I pulled it , the coils were full of dirt and plant matter. I inspected the housing, and it was caked with dirt. Any ideas why and how to prevent it in the future. The resistor was stock so it could be 25 years of build up.

I could see that happening if it was parked for a millennium with the wiper cover off, but that IS definitely unusual.
