Thanks for the info. About to do my first cooling system flush and wanted to make sure I do it right.

 

In addition to all of the above, just thought I'd add don't waste $9 on the "radiator flush in a bottle" stuff you see at autozone and the like. I've tried it both ways, no real difference. If your system is in bad shape, you may want to fill it with straight water, get it hot, drain and flush again, as many times as necessary until you get clear water out.
