Difference in Factory Tow Hooks ???

Are the brackets different for 97 up compared to 96 down?

If yes, what is different about them?

Anybody have an illustration of the proper parts that make up a 96 setup (factory)?

Yes. The 96- brackets tie in to the sway bar mounts. Post 96 are more complicated. Pictured is 97-01.

The main brackets are pretty much the same, just without all the "extra" pieces they added for additional reinforcement on 97-01s.

So can I bolt on the 97 up style onto my 96 without drilling holes??
