Default difference between 84-91/92-01 dana 30s?

About to re gear. Have a 91 and a 95 axle. Going to re gear the 91 and build the 95. The master install kits coming up with different part numbers. Anybody know the difference between these two axles?

Up to mid 91 you had high pinion cad axles with the vacuum actuator on the passenger tube.
Mid 91-99 were all high pinion
00-01 were low pinion
I am not sure of the differences in the kits but those are the different axles..
Oh and btw... You have to give us more than a hour and twenty minutes.. We aren't google, we don't just pop up with a answer.

But not all 91 down had the cad disconnect thingy. I believe only the 231 transfer case equipped models had the cad. My 90 with the 242 case does not have the disconnect axle.

Wait.

Why would you regear one and build the other one? Waste of time and money man.

It's still a waste of money. I don't see any point in doing it if you're going to be swapping out the axle at any time in the future.

You're defiantly entitled to your own opinion. It doesn't matter though......
