Default Diagnostic / Scanner

Trying to find diagnostic for ma Jeep Cherokee 90'. I have heard about DRB II, but it is nowhere to find. Found DRB II adapter and correct cables, but now I need to find that scanner or how it is called.

What he said. The DRB2 wasnt very common, even back then, IIRC. I didnt think the 90 had any form of diagnostics capabilty anyway, other than a multimeter and a testlight? Or am i thinking of 89 and older? Either way, good luck finding one.

Snap On MT2500 with Jeep 1 connector. Real time data only, no abilities to store or throw codes.

I have no experience with this device that appears to monitor data in real time also.

I DO have experience with the REM. It's great. I also have the rare factory tester. If every Renix owner got one, my posting answers on this forum would be cut in half.

That said, Rumbarek, have you visited my website that's dedicated to Renix things?

So you say, that DRB II is not the right choice (or good choice without chance to find one for buying) ?
I didnť visit your page yet, where I can find it? Do you ship to Europe?

currently I am thinking about buying this https://www.ebay.com/itm/JEEP-EAGLE-...QAAOSwyYFaFirP and hoping to find that DRB II. What do you think?

DRB is not the first choice. The part on ebay is only a portion of the DRB setup.

My site is www.cruiser54.com.

On the front page is a link to the product you need.THE HISTORY OF THE 4.0

A GREAT STEP FOR RENIX OWNERS

SEPTEMBER 24, 2017 CRUISER54 3 COMMENTS EDITThanks Nick for developing the REM.

Our trusty old Renix systems will carry on even longer now. For the price of one or two sensors that didn’t need replacing, this tool pays for itself. See it here: http://nickintimedesign.wordpress.com/

I’ve had the factory DRB tool for years, but yours is actually easier to use and has a long lead on it so monitoring can be done from the driver’s seat. Factory one couldn’t do that.

I appreciate your ongoing contributions to the Renix Jeep community. Keep up the good work.

Pete

I use this scanner at my shop all the time, it works great and the only time I had an issue with it the company helped me fix it in less than a hour. Works on every truck that comes in and has made us so much money. My buddy got one too and loves it, he does everything himself now and had no issues figuring out how to use it. Only complaint that I can make is that it needs to be plugged in after around 7 hours of use. This is the one I use but they have more laptops and scanners too. https://dieselscanners.com/products/...r-truck-repair
