Odd problem. Defrost has air coming out no mater what the setting. All the other settings work fine. Any help?

 

Is this on the 88?
Defrost is the setting it goes in by default. So, this means the control of the vents is faulty (since it doesstays in this settings regardless what setting you try to select).
It's been a while, but IIRC it's vacuum operated therefore pointing towards a vacuum leak or otherwise fault in the vacuum system. Any other issues to go with this?
Others will correct me or chime in if this is incorrect. After all it's a Renix

Sorry, misread, you stated all the other settings worked fine.....I'll leave it for others, since thats what I could recall.

 

Ya it's the 88. It seems like the door for defrost is stuck open. What could be in there to jam it up.

 

It ain't jammed. The system defaults to that when it loses vacuum.
