Ok I'm doing an led upgrade to my interior lights. I noticed a "cutout" spot on the dash right by the temp and oil gauges. Just wondering what that was for... 99XJ

It's referred to as the "tell tale" in the FSM, but ralph is correct. It's a diesel information center with only those three lights even though there is clearly space for more.
The lights are:
Wait to start
Water in Fuel
Low Coolant Level.
