Over $1k just to be able to unlock the hubs....not worth it.

Why do you feel its necessary to have manual hubs on your D30?

Has anyone ever bought a set of old ford ranger knuckles and tried to make either the knuckle or just spindle work on the D30 axle?

I like the idea of a lunchbox locker up front with selectable hubs as well. But a grand just for the hubs just isnt worth it to me.

ok hubs or ox locker? $800 to turn a hub or $800 to pull a lever and have a locker? dont see the dilemma here? Just my thoughts.
