Cylinder 1 low compression

Default Cylinder 1 low compression

#1 cylinder has low compression. Cylinder #1- 60. Cylinder #2- 147. What do I do next?

So do I just rebuild/replace the head or the Whole engine?

Depending on your situation it may be cheap to find a JY motor, but thats a bit doubtful.

Can you do it yourself?

I'm sure I could, I Don't have alot of cash but I also want to do it right that way I don't have to worry about it again...

You can do a basic re-ring but I'd suggest doing a complete rebuild.

Try your local machine shoips. You can usually get a package deal that includes machining and a rebuild kit.

I'm in for one hell of a mission... My first jeep turns out to be a nightmare haha. How much do you think Im looking at roughly? Just trying to figure out basic numbers. I appreciate all of your guys help
