97 cherokee sport. Cruise wouldn't cancel with brake pedal or steering wheel switch from set at 65 mph. Speed slowly increased past set. Had to pull over & kill engine, disconnect cable at throttle body. Have had problems with turn-on/set & dash indicator light works randomly but cruise would work without indicator light "on". Had a few anxious seconds in traffic when it wouldn't cancel. HELP? I replaced the vacuum actuator/solenoids with new Jeep OEM part when cancel resulted in a high idle speed (1500 RPM) the problem described above began with first use with new part.
