Hey guys,
Trying to figure out why my cruise isn't working.
When I'm driving down the road, I can turn it on and off (and the light turns on & off on the dash) but I can't set it.
I pulled the bumper endcap and ensured the vacuum reservoir was good, I pulled and re-seated the line on that. When I pulled the line I heard a "hiss" sound like air was coming out so I assume everything is cool there.
Traced the line up to where it tees, one goes to the CC servo...checked those lines and they seemed fine.
Pulled the CC servo, the harness connection looked fine. The servo seemed okay, I could move it in and out. I took the servo apart further and the 3 "pistons" seemed a bit sticky so we lubed them up and threw it back together.
Still no dice, I guess I'll have to invest in a vacuum gauge and see if I have a leak somewhere. Or should I test the "set" button and make sure that's not broken?
I think I'm getting a little thrown off by the "cruise" light coming on...Any ideas?

I wouldn't imagine it's the clockspring, the horn works fine, airbag light isn't on...
I'll check the set button tomorrow, doing a little research looks like it's just a torx screw to pull it and check the contacts.

I had a broken cc too.. vacuum good, switches good. Ended up being the servo itself (the most common failure, I found out) got one at the JY for under $30

Also check the brake pedal stop light switch. The CC is wired there so you release the CC set speed when you step on the brakes. It could be out of adjustment or may need replacing.
