Another possibly strange question. If I simply unplugged the cruise control module and the emissions maintenance reminder- timer would these units removed cause any problems or should I use bumpers of some sort in the connectors. I just want these modules to go away. Thanks in advance.

 

The emissions timer can be unplugged with no ill effects, I believe the cruise can as well.
