Cruise control activation 92 XJ

Cruise control activation 92 XJ
How is the cruise control activated on a 92 XJ?
I am having to replace the turn signal arm (not the switch, just the arm) and I have 2 lead wire hanging out of the steering column that I understand is the cruise control.
My problem is with the new arm I got (see photo) there is no cruise control connection.
Do I need a different switch, where does the cruise control come in?

Also, just pull straight out on the lever to remove, right?
