Can a alignment fix my death wobble

I snapped my tie rod in half during a death wobble last monday i fixed the tie rod and its still doing minor death wobble hit i hit a bump just right took it to a tire shop and they told me that i just need a alignment and that will fix the problem i just need some info as to the fix or not im driving a 98 jeep grand cherokee

Im sure it needs an alignment now, but that may not fix the death wobble. Check the trackbar mount at the axle. Have someone turn the wheel while you watch the trackbar. If it has play, the hole is wallowed out. That right there will cause death wobble for sure. There are lots of moving parts under there. Any one or a combination of can cause it. Also, is your rig lifted?
