Default Crazy electric issues

So I needed to pass inspection and my horn doesn't work so I ran a wire from the horn to the fuse. The horn wouldn't stop going, I couldn't figure the horn out so I just put it on a switch, flip on it honks off it doesn't, so anyway after I passed (yeah!) I unhooked it from the fuse. Now my dash lights don't come on. My front side turn signals don't come on. My radio will turn off if I plug something into the cig lighter and cig lighter plug won't work. Also if I leave my lights on it won't give me that beep to remind me. I checked all the fuses under the dash and they all look good. When I drive it sounds like I'm hearing a wire shorting somewhere. Anybody have any ideas or where I could start looking?

What did you do with the wires that were disconnected for the horn? You checked the fuses under the dash and in the engine bay?

Well it will probably be covered in oil but its like a braided flat wire if any of the braids are pulled or one spot looks burnt that could be a option of ur problem

1988 jeep has the c101 plug in at the firewall (engine harness to interior harness) try to clean this up.Also search c101 to see if there is anymore info on it.

So there is a silver box under the dash to the left of the ash trey, some bare wires were sticking out. Took them and stuff them back into the silver box and it works!

Hopefully they got taped up and protected so they don't short out against each other?
