Just got this xj a week or so ago, traded my four wheeler for it to have a woods/mud rig. Needed a starter, still needs a brake line. It only ran on starter fluid today, won’t run without it being sprayed down its throat. Any ideas? Could this be a grounding issue? Possibly fuel pump or pcm?

 

Does it have gas? Is the fuse/relay good? Is the pump getting 12v?

 

it has about a half tank on gas, but only 2 or so gallons is new. Rest is 2 years old. I didn’t even think of checking relays. I’ll have to check that whenever I get time.
