Default Crank Position sensor question

I have a 1991 XL, 4.0L 6 cyl. engine 5 speed trans. I need a new Crank Position sensor and can't seem to find one anywhere. I have an after market new one but I keep reading that I should only use the Genuine MOPAR OEM part. so...I am looking for one. I fine a lot on line for the 1994 and up, but not for the 1991 model. will the 1994 OEM sensor work correctly in the 1991 model ? so...where should I purchase the new OEM sensor ? and will the 1994 model work in the 1991 ? Thanks

Second rock auto. They're not hard to do or expensive, just a funny reach. Get oem, might be a few bucks more but my 98 zj 4.0 that has 200k on it, never broke anything too important besides a ps pump in the 5 years and 90k I put on it, liked to eat through about a crank sensor a year. I almost guarantee it was because I put the ****ty cheap ones in there. Had a fuel pump that needed to be primed for 5 years, (shes still goin) and when my jeep would randomly die my first thought was crank sensor and not fuel pump. It's always the crank sensor!!

turned out to NOT be the CPS...it was a bad ignition coil. I have never had a coil go bad before. but mine was really corroded inside the H.V. lead connection. acted just like a bad CPS. I installed a new coil and fixed it. thanks guys for the valuable input.
