Well I've been working on my 93 Jeep Cherokee Sport XJ 4.0 L for close to a year now. I've taken a few Auto lessons in school to diagnosis my issue. But I keep striking out.

I have spark and fuel. I recently hard wired my crankshaft sensor because I've had no luck finding a connector for it reason my sensor had corrosion in it.

What could be my issue or maybe I misdiagnosis it. Even If I exchanged parts and put new stuff in it it more than likely needed it.

I am stuck and need help. I'll answer anyone's question if they need more info.

 

How are you checking for spark?
Is the spark blue or orange?
Ever pulled the distributor cap and checked the internals?

 

You should put more detailed info, on how you have verified spark and fuel...and anything else

did the engine run before?

There is a lot of people that can help you fix it on here, by giving you free information, in a lot less than a year

have you or anyone else done any electronic testing,,, do you have a multimeter?
