Do you have any symptoms of a cracked head? Disappearing coolant for example?
Any codes stored?
How much mechanical ability do you have?

I agree with Radi.

The #1 symptom of a cracked 0331 cylinder head is "unexplained coolant loss".

Do you have that symptom??

If you truly do have a cracked 0331 head (and you need to verify that), there is no quick fix. Replacing the head (if done soon enough) can save the engine. Otherwise, the bearings in the engine will fail and you will have to either rebuild or replace.

Do not use an additive for a cracked 0331 head. It will NOT work.

Cracked head would mean you are loosing coolant. Try cleaning you throttle body and IAC(idle air control valve), might be why it is stalling.

I am a female so I don't know much! I can tell u my truck isn't smoking white or no milky oil in the dip stick. However when my oil cap thingy was taken off there was milky oil on it. I already cleaned the iac and that didn't help. Now my trcuk wont go and it is clunking very very load. Now I'm thinking blown engine?!?!?!

Telling your model year would help. If its 00-01 combined with milky residue under the oil filler cap almost guarantees a cracked head. As for rough running, cracked head alone should not cause those symptoms. Any codes?

The year would be most helpful. Did you clean out the throttle body too?

There are a few head gasket/crack signs:
bad compression in one or two cylinders
coolant in oil
oil in coolant
white smoke from tail pipe
coolant level decreasing

I probably forgot a few.
I don't think engine stalling is sign of cracked head.
Sometimes mechanics ask so much money for repair, it makes more sense to sell a car and buy another one.

engine stalling is a sign of a cracked/warped head lucky for you the bolt order is easy to find and pulling the head ist to tough and the gasket is nice and cheap.
