Hello everyone . Ok I have an odd one I need help with please. I just bought an 89 Comanche . Mt trans 4.0 4x4.
ok so here is the problem I bought it as a NO START, and I new pretty much what the problems was. the CPS . and it was. BUT the tip was ground down! ok So I replaced it and ran great, so i did my test drive and everything was fine until I down shifted then I pretty much went to a ruff Idle . So i up shifted and it ran fine again till the next down shift which broke the CPS again.
Anyone ever run into this problem? I'm pulling the trans now but it started to rain on me so I thought id do a post .
