Corroded brake lines...what to do? *Pic*
I was told my brake lines are pretty bad. My mechanic wanted to fabricate some lines and charge $85/hr to do it...and he's estimating something like 8hrs.
Do they look bad to you guys? How hard is it to replace?

Those dont look too bad, I would check the ones under the jeep (rear brake lines) and the ones in the front wheel wells.
bending your own brakes lines is easy, tedious but easy. I replumed the master and proportion valve is like 2 hrs, it was my 1st time doing that too.

X3, the ones he says are bad are probably under the jeep and if you have a line bender, it's pretty easy to make your own lines without kinking them
