Core plugs again
out of interest, do you have to pull the flexplate/flywheel to get at both those lower plugs, or just the inner one ?
+ 1 for good cooling system maintenance...an entire engine out job is a bit nasty to change core plugs

The one on the lower right is not into the cooling system but at a guess I'd say it's the cam shaft. Covered in oil and looked as good as new on the inside. I still wanted to replace it while it was all accessible.
As I couldn't seem to easily find the sizes online, the engine has seven 2" plugs, 5 on the side, 1 in the head and 1 in the rear. The final plug is 2 1/8".
Both are covered by the flexplate and the coverplate behind.

I also tried to buy a used engine for $50 off the same guy that had nearly 300k miles on it, but he had to get his junk taken away before I could get there, was going to strip that down to prep a stroker build

I had one that just went to the shredder because nobody wanted it. It was a WJ block though.

It's a shame when you miss out like that. I could potentially have had a donor local to me, but they'd forgotten that I'd spoken to them about it a while back. It was in a scrap yard last I saw it.
