Default Coolant always low?

Ey everyone, my coolant is always really low, below add. But the temp is fine, and everytime i add some it overflows. Is this a problem? And how can I fix it?

And are you filling it to the correct line? There is a cold fill and a hot fill line.

Unexplained coolant loss is one symptom of a blown head gasket.

You're either leaking it or burning it.

First, perform a comprehensive search for a leak. Best to get the vehicle up in the air if you can and get under it and really check every possible cooling system component. Leaks can often be hard to find.

If you don't find any leaks, I'd start with a compression test on all cylinders to see if you have a blown head gasket.

Same with my 97 sport, a mechanic looked at it and mentioned the bottle only needs filled a couple of inches. Any more will just be forced out
