Default Confused on HIDs

i have alot of questions about the aftermarket lights.
1) is there a difference between HID and projector headlights?
2) if so, what?
3)http://www.xtralights.com/79-01jeepc...blackpair.aspx --- is that all i need or do i need extra equipment in order to install.
4) i cant see 5 feet in front of me when i drive and i also dont want to be one of those people with annoyingly bright lights. the price of the projector headlights is a perfect price for me, but am i missing something?
5) also if i buy the black projector headlights does anyone know if i would get pulled over in New Jersey for visibility of headlights?

please help ahah

A projector is still a HID, it just controls the beam so you dont blind everyone. In nj you will get ticketed for that. Go with sylvania silverstars.

.......?

porjectors are made up of reflectors and differint lens's.. they heve a " shade " part inside to direct the light.. how you see cutoff lines.. and they work VERY WELL..

HID! stands for high-intensity discharge.. theses are BLUBS you can buy for your porjectors.. some have differint types of noble gases to make there lights

theres alot on this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headlamp

heres what im going to tell you... i know what your going though, thses lights really do dfkjvl;skvn......... you get what you pay for, ive seen some other projectors and hid kits out there.. if you want lights that REALLY work.. your going to pay and fab a bit for them..

id ask your self.. how much do i want to spend, how much time do i want to spend and what do i need in lighting.

be careful with those lights...they have plastic housings which makes them liable to melt and i have also heard horror stories about these lights (scattered beam and short life span) But they do look bada$$

norcalmr2.com. Only real projector I've seen for the 7x6 housing.

AWESOME customer service, by the way.
